If you used Spartan's built in backup, just start Spartan, go to Backup and restore on the tools menu and restore from your backup.

======================================

If you didn't use the built in backup but have a mirror backup of all your data then.....

Install Spartan, start it, go to Backup and Restore on the Tools menu and make a note of the data folder (top line).

Shut Spartan down.

If the Windows version that crashed is the same as the Windows version in the new installation, that is where you will find your clips in the backup. Copy the folder from the backup and paste it to the new hard disk.

Re-start Spartan

========================================

If you have changed Windows versions, to locate the clip folder in the backup….

If old version was Vista, Win 7, Win 8 or Win 10 it is
C:\Users\(Your User Name)\AppData\Roaming\M8 Software\Spartan_Data

If old version was XP it is:
C:\ Documents and Settings \ (User Name) \ Application Data \ M8 Software \ Spartan_Data

If Old version was Windows 98 it is
C:\ Windows \ Profiles \ (User Name) \ Application Data \ M8 Software \ Spartan Data

Copy the data folder from the backup and paste it to the new hard disk in the location you noted from Backup and restore

Re-start Spartan
