McAfee anti-virus reports the Trojan "Exploit-Obscure.HTML" in an M8 Multi Clipboard file.

If you use McAfee anti-virus, you are likely to have this happen anytime you copy something that contains both HTML and graphics. For Example a section of a web page.

You can read about this "Trojan" on McAfee's website here.
To the best of our knowledge, there is no such thing as the "Exploit-Obscure.HTML" Trojan. McAfee have arbitrarily decided to delete any file they find containing both HTML and non ASCII characters just in case it might be a trojan.

This is a quote from McAfee's own website:

"Microsoft Internet Explorer ignores certain non-ascii characters, allowing an attacker to obfuscate malicious code and still have it rendered by IE. This detection covers HTML documents that have been crafted with the intention of evading antivirus detection. Other documents that mix HTML with non-ascii characters could also trigger this detection."

Recommendations

1. If you run McAfee, avoid copying areas of web pages that contain both text and graphics.
2. Bin McAfee and get another Anti Virus Program.
