Note:- Easy Backup is a DOS program - And while it runs OK under all versions of Windows, it is not suitable for backing up files which have Windows long file names.
Easy Backup makes compressed self restoring backup disks. It backs up the named directory together with any sub directories which it may have. Backup parameters are stored in a data file so that subsequent backups can be menu - selected. Easy Backup makes light work of large database backups.
Easy Backup uses the philosophy of "Backup by Subject". Rather than backup an entire hard disk, you make separate backups, for example, of data in the sub directories of a DBMS or documents in the sub directories of a word processor. - Why waste disks and time backing up your Autocad system when you already have master disks for it ! Just tell Easy Backup to backup the sub directories only.
Where data and program files are mixed in a directory, you can backup only the data files by entering a wildcard backup filespec. ( See features list below )

Make multiple copies of a backup from a single packing operation.

Backup disks created by Easy Backup are self restoring. You do not need Easy
Backup on a machine to restore an Easy Backup.
The restore program automatically checks for sufficient disk space.
