Welcome to WebM8

This is the main window

1. Each of these 50 slots represents a clip set for either a logon screen (user name, password Etc.) or for form filling.

2. Each set has an edit button. Left click to edit the set. Right click to enter freehand notes about it.

3. All the sets shown on the left belong to library 1. There are 19 libraries giving a total of 950 possible sets. Left click to change library. Right click to name library.

4. This area displays any freehand notes you have made about a set automatically as you move the mouse over the set names.

5. This area is a quick help panel showing help for whichever item the mouse is over.


To create a logon set.
Click the first edit button on the main program window.

In the editor, enter your user name and password on the left and enter a name for the set and the address of the web site on the right.

then click save.

The set name now appears on the main window:

if you now click on the name, your browser will open at the web site and the clipboard window will appear above it:

Make sure the cursor is blinking in The user name field and click on your user name in Webm8. WebM8 pastes in your user name and moves the cursor to the password field. Click on your password in WebM8 and the form is complete.

To automate the whole process so that you can do it with a single click, click the edit button on the main window again and add these commands after your user name and password

You can type the commands manually or you can insert them by clicking the appropriate command buttons.

Note how the password has been hidden.

Click Save, then click on the set name in the main window.

Ensure that the cursor is blinking in the user name field and click the Auto-Insert button.

Note:
All logon forms vary. In the example above, the tab command is required to skip the "Remember my password" field.


To Create a Form Filling Clip Set
Click the second Edit button on the main window. This time, enter a name but no web site address and fill the editor with all the details you need to buy things on line.

After you save this set, you can click on its name anytime you need to fill a form with the details.

To see more of your clips without scrolling, click the 22 button:

With the cursor in the first field of the web form, click on the clip you want inserted. WebM8 pates it in and moves the cursor to the next field ready for you to paste in the next clip.


Clipboard control buttons

The top two row of the control panel are used for sites that ask you to enter individual characters from a password, PIN or both and are described in the auto-logon examples here..

Close This hides the clipboard such that the next click on the tray icon displays the main window.

Minimize This hides the clipboard such that the next click on the tray icon redisplays the clipboard.

Home This redisplays the main window.

< and > These move the cursor from field to field in the form you are filling

Click This clicks the button which is highlighted in the form

Edit This displays the edit window to change your clips.


Arranging your sets for ease of use

Once you have many sets, you can arrange them any way that suits you. If you prefer to have them in alphabetical order, click the A to Z menu item.

If you prefer to have them in static positions, click the static menu item.

In static mode, you can move the sets around by dragging and in either case, you can color highlight any set as shown above.
