Putting text in shapes
To add a shape, click here:
101 creates the last used shape in the center of the screen
and adds this control panel in the upper left corner of the screen
If the last used shape isn't the one you want, click on the shape you do want in the bottom of the control panel
Adjust the shape to the size you want using the "Size +" and "Size -" buttons in the Graphic control panel then click on the shape at the bottom of the Shapes control panel to redraw it at the new size.
Now check the "Transparent" option in the Graphic control panel and
click in the outer area to leave
Move your shape away from the center of the screen and click "Text" on the "Add Items" control panel.
A rectangle appears in the center of the screen and the "Text" control panel appears top right
Type the text you want into the Text control panel and it appears in the rectangle.
Drag your text over the shape
and adjust the rectangle size using the buttons in the Text control panel so that it fits
Finally, check the Transparent option, uncheck the Border option and change the Fore Color if you wish
